Learning

As a school learning is, of course, the centre of education and our purpose in existing. However, learning encompasses more than just the learning of knowledge and facts that takes place in lessons for each individual subject. Learning is also about the day-to-day aspects of life, it is about developing resilience, building relationships, understanding others (including tolerance and acceptance), it is learning about ourselves and how to be the best version of ourselves.

Consequently, in this section of our website you will find more than just our Curriculum offer – though this is here, along with specific details about each subject area, knowledge organisers for facts, and information about assessment and exams. There is also information about our personal development programme, run during tutor times – the ASPIRE programme. And, vitally for some parents and students, is information about our Learning Support Team and SEND offer.

For all other aspects of learning, such as our co-curricular offer, careers programme and pastoral care, please see the ‘Student’ section of our website.
