Lockdown may have meant students have not been much in evidence recently, but that does not mean the place has been quiet, as it has provided an opportunity to continue the overhaul of our facilities and buildings.

Our Year 7 pupils took time out from their own Christmas countdown to put a smile on the face of local care home residents by creating a video of Christmas jokes, group singing and poetry reading, as well as providing gifts and cards.
The coronavirus pandemic may have impacted many aspects of school life this year, but it has certainly not silenced the young musicians of schools within our trust, where participation numbers just keep on growing.
The National Anthem is likely to be played with particular enthusiasm by our young musicians after a £2,000 grant with royal connections will further help support music teaching in our schools.
