Students at Smithdon High School started the new academic year by celebrating achieving 100% attendance for the previous year.
Year 11 students at Smithdon High School secured the best GCSE headline results ever. Sitting the new styled English and Maths GCSEs, 65% of students achieved a Grade 4 or better which is an increase of 10% on the headline figure achieved in 2016.
Year 12 and 13 students received recognition from the Rotary Club for their services to the local community.
On Thursday 25th May the Year 10 Sutton Scholars graduated their research project.
